Our Upcoming Special Events

As some may know, just before COVID 19 struck, Rosie Lea had made the decision to purchase the lease on a grade two listed building and had embarked on a restoration project planned to be complete and open to the public on Easter Weekend.

Unfortunately, this project came to an abrupt halt, and, along with our sister tea room in Brockenhurst, the businesses now stand empty and closed.

However, we are determined that we will keep our chins up and Rosie Lea Kitchen will be open once more in its new home, Rosie Lea House.

To celebrate our opening we are planning a calendar of events to bring our customers all together once more.

Saturday 5th September 2020.

Grand Fire Evening

Our Grand Fire Evening will celebrate the best of local food & drink supporting all our local suppliers who have also been hit hard by the pandemic.

All being well we will hold this fabulous event on Saturday 5th September 2020.

Join our chefs as they cook a stunning banquet, Al Fresco, on our BBQ and Indian Fire Bowls. From Fire Roasted dishes to a Whole Hog Roast and something extra special for dessert, this will be  Rosie Lea at her very finest!

Tickets will be £40 per head for this 4-course banquet and include a very special welcome drink to celebrate our return

Saturday 19th September 2020

Mad Hatters Tea Party

Our Mad Hatters Tea Party will be held on Saturday 19th September from 12 pm.

Themed all things Alice in Wonderland, join us for a fun-filled family afternoon of live music, beautiful afternoon tea and games.

This is a chance for families to reconnect after being kept apart for so long, we plan a real celebration of togetherness and if you wait patiently enough, you never know who might pop along from Wonderland to join the fun! (fancy dress optional but prizes for the best!!!)
